Dimitri Kipiani's murder, bringing his body to his homeland and reburying it here developed into manifestations to express the protest against the tragic fate of Kipiani: "Thanks to this old man whose body now rests on the mount Mtatsminda, we finally broke out from the deep sleep and haze..." (Archil Jorjadze).
131 years passed since breaking out from that "sleep and haze" and the number of the "stories" contained in this book corresponds the number of those years. The "stories" are taken out from the memoirs by Ilia Chavchavadze, Akaki Tsereteli, Iakob Gogebashvili, Ekvtime Takaishvili, Valerian Gunia who give us a presentation of Dimitri Kipiani as a public figure as well as just a person living his everyday life.
The "stories" are arranged chronologically which lets the reader follow Dimitri Kipiani's life starting from his childhood right to his martyr-like death.
