President Zviad Gamsakhurdia’s Case

The book contains the materials amassed by the Georgian Parliament commission studying the circumstances of the death of Zviad Gamsakhurdia, the first President of independent Georgia. The findings of the commission were presented to the Parliament on 24 February 2011 and later sent to the Prosecutor’s Office. The publication is a selection from the documents which comprise nine volumes of the case (1994-2004), focusing on the death itself, as well as the interrogations and interviews the commission conducted with a number of witnesses.
The book is richly illustrated and has an index of proper names and geographical locations.
