Published in 1934 by Diederich Verlag, Yena, the book was initially called Dali, at least in its Georgian version. The novel is considered lost with only fragments – Two Leaves and Big Mother – published in the Bedi Kartlisa (The Destiny of Georgia), the Georgian emigration magazine.

The book was translated into French by Mate Kereselidze but the text ready for publication was lost. Now for the first time the readers are offered the complete text as well as the fragments published in the author’s lifetime.
