The author started working on the dictionary twenty years ago under Arnold Chikobava’s supervision. The verb stems and their forms are arranged alphabetically based on a certain system. Their lexical meanings are given in the standard Georgian, however, sometimes dialectal or old equivalents are used if these are closer in meaning.
