As soon as the Russian version of the book appeared in 1992, its 100,000 copies were immediately sold in the post-Soviet countries. Its Polish translation was presented in Warsaw, followed by the second, extended edition in Russian published in Nastoyashchee Vremya (Riga, Latvia), as well as Ukrainian and Lithuanian translations. The Georgian version is published for the first time.

Despite the fact that Beria’s case is nearly 60 years old, we know very little about the biggest Bolshevik conspiracy, whose interpretation is offered by Sergo Beria, Lavrenti Beria’s only son.
